This was a print media project I completed as part of a typography course I took while attending university. We were asked to develop a type specimen book showcasing the history and anatomy of a chosen font, providing definitions in a visual and engaging way.I chose three fonts to work with: Klein Slab Serif, Caviar Dreams, and Comfortaa. I enjoyed this project so much that I had a copy printed before submission. The majority of the work was done in Adobe InDesign, but also used Photoshop which functions as a light room environment to arrange the book pages. The most memorable aspect of this project was the fun I had playing with the visualization of each type’s vibe and aesthetic.
