Of my featured looping animation projects, this is the most complex. This is a character that I designed while practicing in Adobe Character Animator. I wanted to see how I could animate character within Adobe After Effects and achieve the same effect. I wanted to illustrate the contrast between what would traditionally be considered a dark character, by adding a light bouncy movement that added soft comedic qualities. Hovering was a new technique that I enjoyed animating and wanted to translate the movement across the entirety of the character, so I added head bobbing movements as well.
