I was inspired to draw this piece after attending ACL for the first time. After growing up in west Texas, the city of Austin offered what felt like an entire new world of culture and energy. Seeing the diverse and colorful population in attendance at this festival, all embracing their kaleidoscopic individuality, inspired me to draw how I visualize my world in the process of becoming bigger and more informed after this experience. This was part of my impromptu daily drawing practice I was doing at the time.
