A dance company, On Pointe located in Idalou, Texas, had reached out to me for assistance editing together a video for an On Pointe performance that would be something special the performers and their families could look back on. Keeping this in mind, when performing in such large groups like this, it may be difficult for the performers to feel like they share a special place in the spotlight. I put together an edit that featured each dancer individually and transitioned through every performer by working with the photographer to coordinate special moments for the girls. I spent a lot of time working between Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere to bring this all together with new audio due to poor audio quality provided with the initial footage. To avoid a static camera pointed to a stage for the entirety of the video, to enhance engagement I felt these were worthwhile additions.
