The client, Lubbock’s Broadway Church of Christ, requested a video that exhibited a scaffolding rebuild project done to the church’s exterior. They were highly interested in capturing drone footage for a unique perspective highlighting the progression of construction taking place on their tower. This serves as a before-and-after shot, the footage itself was filmed nearly a year apart. This proved to be a challenge when it came to color correcting the footage, but the client and I were both pleased with the final results. West Texas is known for its warm, expansive sun-scapes, providing the warmth in lighting seen throughout this video. Another element of this video is masking done in Adobe After Effects. This was a complex edit, requiring the masking of all openings between the columns to reveal the logo. The before and after were also animated using After effects.
