This video serves as an example of illustration and animation from a project I had completed while attending university. I am still happy with how it is presented overall, and pleased with the final result. I used Adobe Illustrator to design the character featured. I then rigged all the separate parts of the character them so that they can be manipulated freely into a walk cycle. In order to produce the psychedelic animations throughout the video, I spent a lot of time layering and coordinating various shapes and colors. To achieve the desired effect, I developed these visuals in a 3D space but animated them on a 2D plane. The falling effect achieved inside of the brain sequence is my favorite element of this production.
